Delete Your Account & Data
You have the right to delete your account and the personal data we hold about you. This page explains how to do that — either directly in the app or by contacting us.
Delete in the App
The fastest way to delete your account is directly within the Digital Disciple app:
- 1Open the Digital Disciple app
- 2Tap Profile in the bottom navigation
- 3Scroll down and tap Delete Account
- 4Confirm your choice when prompted
Can't Access the App?
If you no longer have access to the app or prefer to request deletion by email, contact us directly and we will process your request within 30 days.

What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following personal data is permanently removed:
- —Your email address and name
- —Your position and referral code on the waitlist
- —Your prayer requests
- —Your conversation history and preferences
- —Any referral relationships linked to your account
Retention After Deletion
Most data is deleted immediately upon confirmation. Some data may be retained for a limited period:
- —Legal obligations: Up to 7 years, as required by applicable law
- —Fraud prevention & security logs: Up to 90 days
- —Aggregated, anonymised analytics: Retained indefinitely — cannot be linked back to you
Partial Data Deletion
If you'd like to delete only specific data — such as your prayer requests or conversation history — without closing your account entirely, email us at founders@thejesusapp.co and specify what you'd like removed. We will process your request within 30 days.
